Recap: Ford vs. Ferrari and the Exclusive Event in Meadow Lake!

Here at PineRidge Ford, we know that Ford vehicles are the best on the road! From best-in-class trucks like the F-150 to unparalleled classics like the Mustang, Ford has a long and successful history of creating some of the most iconic and best-selling vehicles on the market. In the newly released movie, Ford vs. Ferrari, Ford vehicles are put to the test in an ultimate battle to prove once and for all which brand reigns supreme. Spoiler: the phrase isn’t “built Ferrari tough,” now is it?!

As a way to celebrate our love of all things Ford with our community, PineRidge hosted an exclusive event and invited all of our loyal customers! We rented out a local Meadow Lake theatre for a private screening of the new Ford vs. Ferrari film and supplied all of the snacks to round out the movie theatre experience. The best part? This exclusive event was free for our customers to attend! Anyone who purchased a vehicle from PineRidge Ford or had their vehicle serviced by our Service Department in the past year was invited to attend our exclusive Ford vs. Ferrari movie event. We had an amazing turnout and filled the theatre to the brim while we enjoyed snacks, great company and a great movie featuring our favourite Fords!

We were thrilled to see the Ford Explorer and Ford Escape featured in the film, as both SUV models will boast exciting changes to usher in the new decade. The Explorer has undergone a ground-up transformation, with important changes such as a return to rear-wheel drive (with all-wheel drive option), revamped engine options including a turbo 4-cylinder, 6-cylinder and a hybrid, a more spacious interior, fully redesigned styling and extra cargo space. The Ford Escape will also see a total redesign in 2020, with a lower and wider design for better visibility and improved cargo space, a sturdier frame for better handling, options galore with multiple trim levels and powertrains available and a host of innovative new technology features. It’s no wonder that these SUVs kicked some major bumper in Ford vs. Ferrari!  

As we close out another successful year as Meadow Lake and Northern Saskatchewan’s premier Ford dealership, we are grateful for the community that we have built over the years. We couldn’t think of a better way to say ‘thanks’ than enjoying some popcorn together while we cheered on our favourite Fords.
