How?

How do I get the Best Deal on a Used Car?

First off, it’s important to have a rough budget and good idea of what you need in a vehicle. Once you have these guidelines it’s going to be easier to narrow down your options. Generally speaking, you should try to find a used vehicle that’s only had one or two owners. This way you have a good idea of the driving conditions the vehicle has been through. Buying a vehicle that has low kilometres is always better, but you should also try and find out if those have come from highway or city driving. Most of this information is available on a CarProof report that PineRidge is happy to provide. Remember, with us there is No Smoke. No Mirrors.

Why?

Why Should I Buy a Used Vehicle?

There are ups and downs to both new and used vehicles. When you buy a new car, truck, or SUV, its value depreciates quickly. When you decide to purchase a used vehicle, most of the depreciation has already happened. You can get a used vehicle for thousands less than a similar new vehicle.

What?

What is the Average Mileage or Kilometres on a Used Vehicle?

According to the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA), the average Canadian drives 20,000 km per year. That is a rough guide when you’re considering a vehicle. As an example, if a vehicle is three-years-old and has approx. 60,000 km or less, that means it’s been driven a “normal” amount.

And?

Any Other Advice?

Buying or financing a pre-owned vehicle is a big decision and you should be 100% comfortable when you drive off the lot. Make sure all your questions are answered and take any vehicle you’re considering for a test drive.
